A day centre in Penwortham, Preston for older people or those with additional needs to spend time with others in a warm, safe and relaxed environment.
Small groups of no more than eight allow our care team to develop fast friendships and anticipate the individual needs of our guests without the risk of anyone feeling overwhelmed.
FREEDOM OF CHOICE
How our guests spend time with us at The Hub day centre is entirely their choice. They can take part in various personalised activities or, if they prefer, sit and chat over bottomless tea, biscuits, and cakes.
Regular activities include:
- Shopping in the local area
- Visits to parks and garden centres
- Beauty and spa treatments
- Crafts and gardening
- Board and card games
- Bingo, singalongs and rainy day fun
Our private minibus takes guests safely from door-to-door.
Order home-cooked food from our menu or request something special.
For those that require an individual member of staff for support.
FAMILY MEMBERS WELCOME
If you think your loved one would benefit from spending time somewhere where they are valued as a part of a community, we would love to invite you both to attend a free taster day.
If, after spending time with us as a group, you feel comfortable and confident enough to leave your loved one in our care, we’ll be happy to help you access The Hub in the future. You are welcome to get in touch with any questions you may have.
As an approved provider for Lancashire County Council, we can help you to apply for access to funding. We’ll even make the call for you.
